In this paper, a new efficient public key multi-message elliptic curve signcryption (PK-MMECS)
scheme for cryptographic transmission has been proposed. The proposed scheme
simultaneously fulfills the multiple messages in a logical single step by using multi-key generator
which introduces a great deal of redundancy.
The most significant advantage of the proposed PK-MM-ECS algorithm lies in the dramatic
reduction of computational time and communication overhead. It has an efficient computation
time and communication overhead compared with Zheng elliptic curve signcryption scheme. The
security analysis shows that when compared with Zheng elliptic curve signcryption scheme
represented a 27.7 % saving in communication overhead for double signcrypted message and
41.7 % for four signcrypted messages. The saving in computational cost is 50 % and 75 % for
double and four signcrypted messages respectively. The saving in cost grows proportional to the
number of the signcrypted message which satisfies a high level of security and minimum costs.
