ABSTRACT:
Mobile transaction problem is a very difficult challenge in the mobile computing paradigm.
Many researchers efforts had been developed to solve this problem with many attractive
techniques. However these techniques did not consider all factors that affect mobile
transaction management. This paper considers such factors by introducing a novel strategy
for managing the mobile transaction. The proposed strategy centralizes computations in the
fixed network instead of transfer them with each hope of the mobile client, using the LBG (
Local, intermediate Buffer and Global transaction manager ) system. Accordingly, results are
available for the mobile client at any time of connection periods through it’s current base
station. Experimental results had shown that the proposed strategy minimizes the
communication cost, processing time, bandwidth occupation. It also supports transaction
mobility and suitable for mobile devices constraints, which increases the overall system
performance.
