SUMMARY:
The principal problem associated with mean repairs is the cracking caused in the long run by
the intrinsic conditions with the behavior differed from the two concretes. Therefore,
dimensional compatibility is primarily related to creep like with the shrinkage of the two
concretes (concrete to be repaired and concrete of repair).
This work relates to the qualification of the concretes of repair with a method of flexional
creep associated measurements of shrinkage of the two concretes.
The flexional creep tests have relates to six beams of dimensions (100 X 12 X 10) cm 3 with
various positions of the concrete of repair (in traction and compression) and various loadings.
The shrinkage tests were carried out on test-tubes (4 x4 X 16) cm 3 for the concrete of repairand a test-tube (10 X 10 X 50) cm 3 for the concrete to be repaired.
The ratios shrinkage / creep were given for each configuration tested. The comparison of the
various results is observations of the behaviors of the beams make it possible to conclude that
constant the shrinkage / creep can qualify the concrete of repair.
