ABSTRACT
In this paper, applications of an optimal meter configuration system,(introduced in previous work for
the author), on the different electric networks (AEP 14-bus system, AEP 30-bus system, and 34-bus
network) will be presented. The meter configurations must satisfy the necessary and sufficient
conditions for the detectability and identifiability of bad-data with minimum meter number and
minimum cost of the elements contained. These conditions are independent of the method used for
bad-data detection or identification. Classification and evaluating algorithms of available meter
configurations, in view of the observability, detectability and identifiability achievement will be
applied on the different systems as well.
